About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover picture: Antibody localization of skeletor (red) and microtubules (green) in Drosophila melanogaster syncytial blastoderm embryos. Skeletor reorganizes during prophase to reveal a spindle-like structure forming within the nucleus prior to microtubule spindle formation (left). This spindle structure coaligns with the microtubule spindle at metaphase except at the centrosomes, which are void of skeletor staining (right). Please see related article in this issue by Walker et al., 1401-1411.
